Notes

One of our newest additions to the Hey Mambo line of wines that makes you want to get up and dance. This 2008 Hey Mambo Chardonnay has a rich golden color and aromas of wisteria blossoms, red apple, and fresh lemon meringue. In the mouth, there are flavors of Bartlett pear, crystallized ginger, sweet cloves, orange sherbet, and hints of caramel. This wine lingers on your palate finishing with flavors of lemon drops and toasty marshmallows with hints of French oak.

Pairings

This wine was crafted to be a serious Chardonnay with big flavors to stand up to any rich seafood dishes; such as, salmon grilled on a cedar plank with sautéed swiss chard and mashed potatoes, Cioppino (a rich seafood stew that originated in San Francisco), or seared scallops over lemon fettuccine alfredo with roasted cherry tomatoes.
