This blend finishes with delicate notes of fresh summer sweet strawberries that seem to linger endlessly.

The 2009 Pennywise Pinot Noir has a core of fruit from the Merwin Vineyard in Clarksburg, which brings great cherry cola/root beer nuances to the blend. River Junction and Monterey lots present fresh berry fruit with delicate earth and watermelon rind notes.
